Private Vineyard and Venue
This vineyard; set to be cleared and planted in the upcoming years, will be nestled in the woods of Neches Texas, will overlook a small creek and host 10 acres of the black spanish grape vines. This grape variety hosts a vast range of wine varieties to be made. Perfect for the heat of Texas summers and resistant to common vine diseases.
Our vintner has experimented with many different wine varieties beginning with a robust resume of fruit wines. Originally stemming from a passed down family recipe of Fig Wine.
All extra revenue from Carpentry and Blacksmithing goes to the funding of this ambitious project, with the addition of the “buy a vine” project.
Parent Vines
Parent vines are the original vines whose clippings will be propagated each winter into new vines throughout the property. Currently we are planting some of these parent vines on already cleared sections of the land. If you wish you have a parent vine planted in your name simply visit the shop and “buy a vine”!
Clearing
Once enough money has been raised through carpentry, blacksmithing, and parent vines; the clearing of the main vineyard will begin. The main clearing will remove 10 acres of heavily forested area and will allow the land to resettle again before planting and propagation.
Naming
Each vine; through the “buy a vine” project, will be named and cared for in such a manner. Each vine, row, and section all will be named in honor of the loving patrons who support our development. The first bottle of wine produced by your vine will be set aside in your name. Currently we are only naming our twenty original parent vines which will produce the founding batch of wine.
